Since the Pico Players started in April 2014 we have raised over £75,000 for our chosen charities. Much of this is down to our supporters' great generosity. We are delighted that proceeds of the Spring Concert will go towards The Listening Place.

An award winning team of volunteers who offer free, confidential and ongoing face-to-face listening, by appointment, to people who feel that life is no longer worth living. They recognised that there is little such support available for many people with chronic suicidal feelings, and that some of this support can be given by well trained and professionally supervised volunteers. Their mission is to provide a safe place to come and talk freely and confidentially to warm, non-judgemental volunteers who are willing to engage with their feelings and support them through their darkest times. They provide fortnightly sessions, based on active listening and befriending: building trust and a supportive relationship, usually for a 3 month period.
